Wasn't too sure where to categorize this.
My project for Maya II was to model, texture, light, and render an environment. Since I modeled a fish for the first Maya class, I figured modeling it a house would be a nice way to go.
Plenty wrong with this I'm sure, critique as you will please because this wouldn't be a bad piece for the 3d portion of my portfolio and because I'm weak with lighting. Note that those dark blotches all over the inside of the bowl have something to do with how the water model is touching the bowl model, I'm still tweeking vertices there.

How the hell did you have the patience to do that in Maya?!
I'm just learning to use it and I can make very very basic shapes and that's about it.
